These replacement water and air filters serve different purposes: the water cartridge filters water supplied to the dispenser and ice maker, while the air cartridge supports refrigerator odor control. Before ordering, check that your refrigerator requires both FPPWFU01 and FRGPAAF2. A matching water filter alone does not confirm that the air filter will fit.

Replacement and Installation

Follow your refrigerator's Use & Care Guide and the instructions supplied with each cartridge. PWF-1 uses a push-to-lock installation system; flush the new water filter as directed before drinking the water or using fresh ice. Follow the AF-2 instructions for opening the air filter housing and positioning the replacement cartridge.

The manufacturer's PWF-1 information lists replacement at 6 months or 125 gallons, whichever comes first. Check the performance data sheet supplied with your filter for its applicable rating. Follow the AF-2 packaging for the air filter's replacement interval.

AF-2 Is Not PAULTRA2

This kit contains the FRGPAAF2 air filter, not the PureAir Ultra II PAULTRA2. Do not choose this combo solely because another kit uses the same PWF-1 water filter. Match both filter numbers to your appliance.
